A simple, DIY laundry detergent that is cheap, easy to make and free of harmful chemicals.
Natural Laundry Detergent Recipe

16 cups of baking soda12 cups of washing soda8 cups of grated castile soap3 tablespoons of grapefruit, lavender or lemon essential oil (optional)
Combine baking soda, washing soda and soap flakes. Add essential oils and mix with a wire whisk. Store in a glass jar or a tin.
To Use: pour in 1/8 cup per washing machine load
Yield: This recipe will last a typical family of four for one year.
